As always, I prefer not to use the images from the movie. Instead, I search for or order some illustrations.
Last year I ordered some Jasmin illustrations but with Frozen I just found out a "whole new world" of illustrators. Not only the official ones (like Brittney Lee) but also a huuuuge amount of fans who illustrated some Frozen scenes.
I was immediately in love with Brittney Lee's illustrations. As well as Cory Loftis'. And many many others.
So I decided to go with official and non-official illustrations.
And since I was so in love with them, I started to fill my house with these illustrations!
So in my (new) house, I decided to have 5 different scenarios:
Living Room ::
Princesses's Castle ::
Quiet activities, Film
Arendelle themed banner, with the Rosemaling print.
To set the mood I printed some of Cory's paintings, the same that were used in Disney's film.
The ones that Anna sings and plays with: here they are.
My God, aren't they amazing! I wish I could have them all!!
I printed them in a cool website that turns images into posters that you can print at home.
My living room wall was like a Museum...!
I also printed some illustrated decorations from the castle and
placed them inside my glass window closet.
And I substituted our own photos in the living room with illustrations from Anna and Elsa
(before coronation),
to give the idea that we were inside the castle.
Then I printed some free activity sheets and placed them with coloring pencils in a table for the kids.
A costume station was also available for the guests:
This was where we latter watched the movie's songs and made a quiz game!
Wintergarten ::
Character's Table ::
Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, Trolls, Hans ::
Food
The wintergarden had two tables and a balcony with food. Of course, only "theme-food".
Decorations hanging from the ceiling were snow- and ice- themed. Since this was Elsa's section, I thought it would do much better than justa a banner.
The food was presented according to the movie's characters:
Elsa
The birthday cake was inspired by the North Mountain and
I decided to print a beautiful illustration of Elsa and hang the picture behind the cake.
It made all the difference...
:: Pink Ombre Cake ::
Vanilla Genoise with Strawberry Jam and Buttercream filling
(photo not yet available)
Cake Pops
chocolate cake with white chocolate icing and sugarpaste decorations.

Brazilian Coconut Truffles
Marshmallows, cookies, white peppermint candy and white meringues.
Decorated Cookies
Boy, did I struggled with these cookies...
I wanted to make some silhouette cookies. First I had to find a good illustration for the character's profile. Then, after the first icing, I discovered that these silhouettes weren't good enough for these kind of cookies.The silhouettes were more intricate then desirable, so nobody could tell what they were.
Then I decided to put a second coat, to give then some bas-relief and that worked!
Unfortunately, the cookies ended up with 3 layers of icing which made them extremely sweet...
Anna
Decorated Cookies
Brazilian Chocolate Truffles ("I wanna stuff some chocolates in my faaaace...!")
Cold Pasta Salad with Smoked Salmon
Kristoff
Decorated Cookies
Coconut and Lemon Cupcakes with Sugarpaste and Royal Icing decorations
Kristoff's Meatballs (haha, I had to do it!... You know, its typical Norwegian!)
Sven
Sven's carrots (chocolates)
Brazilian Carrot Truffles (Sven's Carrots)
Olaf
Olaf's Noses and Arms (raw mini-carrots and Bretzels)
Trolls
"Trolls or Rocks?"
Cheese and Ham Muffins with Cream Cheese, Parmesan, Seeds
and Chinese Mushrooms topping.
Hans
(sorry, no picture available!)
Mozzarella sticks with bitter-sweet sauce

And I also served some chips, tortillas, etc... and lots of drinks!
Garden :: Elsa and Oaken ::
Games
I had a lot of fun putting together these games.
I often think about or search new games or how to adapt the classic ones.
So this is what I did:
Elsa's Magic Gloves
This idea was taken from another mother, who posted this on the Internet.
I thought it was such an amazing idea, I had to do it.
So I bought one pair of gloves and sew the decorations.

Oaken's Big Summer Blowout
This was an adaptation of the classic game to throw balls to knock out some decorations.
Garden ::
Olaf ::
Olaf ::
Sand box (a little "Summer")
For Olaf, nothing better than his own Summer, with sand, toys and... sun!
I printed a big Olaf and glued it to the window.
It was a hit!
Tent in Garden ::
Arendelle ::
Arendelle ::
Drinks
The last (but not least) scenario would be Arendelle.
This place was for all the drinks, juices, Colas, a lot of water and a bucket full of beer and ice in the frozen fiords of Arendelle.
The kids had again personalized cups.
Banner, pictures, posters would set the scene.
It was a fantastic day!!!
And just like in the movie, Rapunzel came to Arendelle!!!
